On Feb 6 1958 a plane carrying a Manchester United team, on the point of ruling European football, crashed on a runway in Munich killing 22 people including 7 players. Duncan Edwards, perhaps their greatest player, became the 8th player to die of his injuries fifteen days later in a German hospital. This DVD tells the full story of the Busby Babes, the death of the team and the birth of a legend, and the journey they took over the next ten years, still managed by Matt Busby, to finally become the best team in Europe.
This unique documentary features extensive coverage of the 1948, 57, 58 and 1963 Cup Finals and the 1968 European Cup with action from legends Bill Foulkes, Tommy Taylor and Duncan Edwards, and the holy trinity of Charlton, Best and Law.
